The Client: Levolor

The Challenge: Take a very complex ordering process, simplify it, and put it on the web. Initially the customer wanted to create a showroom for their product and provide a place for stores to direct clients who might want to view information on their own.

The Solution: In terms of usability, this was one of the most challenging projects I've worked on. But, after sitting through the HTML based presentation the client stated they couldn't believe we had made the ordering process so easy! Further telling us they had spent tens of thousands of dollars on a sales training video that was supposed to make the process easy - it failed where the site had succeeded.

My Role: Information architecture, user interface, design, development and presentation

Note: The project was eventually shelved due to channel conflicts.
