LOGOS:

The Client: Yelton Milling Company

The Challenge: Create an identity for the parent company of Yelton Milling Company - makers of fine baking flour and corn meal.

The Solution: Using pictures of the original old mill - which opened in 1736 - I created an illustration that shows the mill during her glory days. The type treatment and ribbon support the nostalgic feeling of the illustration. Since the logo was to be used predominantly for stationery there wasn't the usual concerns for expensive reproduction issues.
