The Client: Ridgecrest Summer Camps

The Challenge: Produce a catalog for a well established summer camp program.

The Solution: After the client hired me to produce this catalog I spent two weeks at the camp to get a feel for the experience, take photographs and conduct interviews (okay I was really just playing). The final catalog is rich with situational, action and portrait photography, "rough hewn" graphics and quotes from campers' journals that project the mission of the camp to the mental, physical, social and spiritual growth of boys and girls. The catalog was printed on a cream colored recycled text (previous versions were printed on glossy stock) to reinforce the warmth found at this unique camp. This project earned a Gold Addy award.
