The Client: Shaker Works

The Challenge: Shaker Heights, OH is a small affluent community in Northern Ohio. Business leaders formed an organization to become a bridge between the heavy residential community and the local government. A mark was needed for using on communications and local advertising. While known for its thriving retail environment service-type businesses needed to also be a part of the identity.

The Solution: Combining an icon from each business sector the logo accomplishes its intended goal. The logo has two versions that alternated in the local advertising, giving equal time to both.
